One of the most important functions of a CPM Project is its ability to schedule and report the allocation of the resources. To achieve that the activities should have been defined in your CPM Project as
- the quantity of its resources,
- the monetary value of its resources.
Material Purchase Decisions should be taken at another database. In order to make such decisions, it should be known which material is going to be used when and in what amount. The Material Requirement List with the amount and scheduling received from CPM helps to take Material Purchase decisions and a Payment Plan is easily created.
